Fisherman's Friend

Wrap fresh fish in an old page

When going freshwater fishing around these parts, you might catch a glimpse of some silver minnow, rainbow trout, golden minnow, rock sturgeon, trout, yellow perch, fairy shrimp, salmon, and largemouth bass. "It's piscine in the wind." If you want to stand a chance of catching the biggest and best of them, you need patience, a strong fishing line, a quality hook, tasty bait, and a fitting lure made out of wood or metal. Once you've fit it all together, just stand by the water and cast your line... and don't let the lurkers bite!

Hints for the Away-From-Home Cook

"Unlikely to Hurt"

You will need enough dough. Assemble the ingredients and simply bake the dish! If you do it right, you should end up with something pleasing: A simple roll of bread.

It's sure to be an unforgettable treat!

Productive Produce for the Season

Grow, grow, grow!

Arugula
Asparagus
Carrot
Chili Pepper
Collard Greens
Navy Bean
Pea Plant
Red Cabbage
Zucchini Vine

Check for those crop starters at your local Greengrocer.

Vining plants will be fruitful through the season, just make sure you're keeping them well-watered... with water, not blood! Unless you want some useless, unhandy little 'friends' moving into your fields!

The buzz of the little world

A thousand unknown flora

Keep an eye out for the telltale features of these plants in the savanna:

This common herb has bright green, lacy leaves that grow in bunches.
Fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves are green above and white below, growing densely along a stalk.

Lunar Notes

Hear, Hear

If you look outside tonight, you may see the Rose Moon.

What does this mean? Rumors fly on currents of air. The Druids murmur of the state of elemental streams. I heard it said:

Fire flows at a feeble trickle. Earth flows sluggishly here. Water here is a deep river of power. Air flows at a feeble trickle.

"So it goes."
